This is a great management position for recent college graduates interested in sales and customer service roles.
This position does require a 13 shift in-water training and it is required to obtain an ELLIS lifeguard certification through Goldfish Swim School when the course is offered.
Flexible schedule includes weekend work (one day per weekend required) and some evening hours. This position is approximately 40 hours per week.

Reports To : General Manager, Assistant General Manager
FLSA Status : Non-Exempt
Summary : Oversees the quality and success of the sales & service/front desk operations of Goldfish Swim School including sales functions, customer service, retail, vending and workplace employee activities.
Rate: $18-22/hr,, bonus opportunities available
Duties and Responsibilities :
Provides leadership, discipline and constructive feedback to our Front Desk Representatives.
Assists in directing and controlling the daily operations to ensure the school is running according to GSS standard operating procedures.
Assists in the management of Front Desk staff to ensure high productivity, excellent performance and positive employee satisfaction.
Works at least 4 front desk shifts per week.
Offers customer service follow-up to any upset members.
Ensures phone calls and emails are responded to professionally and in a timely manner.
Reviews and manages student/class wait list.
Oversees Hello Sign on-line registration process for daily completion by front desk staff
Assures rosters, and other reports are prepared for next day shifts
Reviews Daily Period Summary for all proper charges, and withdrawal discrepancies.
Provides and oversees the job responsibility list at the front desk.
Oversees withdrawals are properly processed, and conduct follow-up when needed
Provides training of Front Desk staff to provide superior performance in customer service, understanding of IClass Pro software, Point of Sale and promotional items.
Conducts all the new hire training (front desk based).
Oversees party coordinator, and private party operations, including training private party staff to ensure the GSS standard operating procedures are being maintained.
Prepares agenda and holds monthly in-services with the Front Desk staff.
Sets sales incentives and contests for the front desk staff in conjunction with the General Manager, to assure that overall goals are considered and provide positive staff morale.
Oversees the subbing process to ensure appropriate staffing at all shifts.
Gains a high level of knowledge and experience in the IClass Pro software to achieve a high level of competence in bookings, class scheduling, reporting and administrative functions; ensures all information is accurate.
Troubleshoots all IClass Pro software account issues.
Maintains all the monthly reporting through IClass Pro software, including preparation and maintenance of all monthly direct debit reporting.
Check daily refund sheet and daily till reconciliation
Provides a weekly summary of the Front Desk Notes. Explains any discrepancies in numbers or customer issues.
Provides a weekly audit of the Registration/Withdrawal Log that gets reconciled against the Period Summary Report for accuracy. Reports and explains any discrepancies.
Using the Sales Force and Scorpion customer management platforms will oversee new business leads, audit and report results.
Oversees the event calendar as it pertains to the front desk.
Takes inventory and purchases items for Snack Shack and Treasure Island.
Ensures the retail and vending area are professional, stocked, labeled and profitable.
Responsible for the overall cleanliness at the front desk and the dry side of the facility.
Oversees the Emergency Action Plan at the front desk.
Oversees the lost and found bin.
Fulfills other duties or responsibilities as assigned by the Employer.
Education/Experience : High school diploma or GED is required. Bachelor s degree preferred. Two or more years previous customer service and/or administrative office experience required. Intermediate level computer skills required using Word, Excel and other software systems.
Certificates and Licenses : Ellis Shallow Water Lifeguard Certificate
Work Environment : While performing this job, the employee is exposed to heat and humidity when working on the pool deck. Noise level is usually moderate.
