JDRF International is seeking a part-time Intern for the national Marketing & Communications Team.

Gain experience in content creation (research, interviewing, writing, editing), strategic internal communications and project management.

Work at headquarters office in NYC for a large, national nonprofit.

JDRF's Marketing & Communications team is seeking a part-time Intern (15 hours per week, negotiable) to write, edit and manage news updates for our new intranet site, MyJDRF. Work closely with leaders in our national Strategic Communications group to identify compelling stories from across the organization, research and develop original content independently, and manage distribution of content via the intranet and related resources. The Intern will interview JDRF leaders in various roles and locations throughout the US as well as national headquarters to discuss and develop engaging, storytelling content, and will work on multiple stories simultaneously. He or she will also maintain an editorial calendar to track content in progress and upcoming story ideas.

Internship candidates must commit to a full semester, but a longer project is possible (negotiable).
