Analyst Trainer-Athena-Northern Westchester County

Supports NewYork-Presbyterian Medical Groups-Westchester-Lawrence Hospital and Hudson Valley, Yorktown.

Monday-Friday-9:00am-5:00pm

Position Summary

Designs and conducts computer application and insurance training, investigates billing practices and customizes solutions, provides technical support and customer service training.

Plays a key role in initiatives involving staff reclassification and Process Redesign. Maintains computer applications by conduction QA assessments and security checks.

Essential Job Duties

* Designs and conducts customized computer application and insurance training sessions and workshops. Includes policies, philosophies on usage and security guidelines.
* Investigates billing errors, customizes solutions and implements process redesign.
* Spearheads training and competency testing.
* Conducts QA assessments on usage of applications. Ensures that usage is in line with hospital and ACN strategies.
* Designs and maintains educational materials.
* Plays a crucial role in planning and implementing Process Redesign initiatives.
* Provides application support. Analyzes and trouble shoots to resolve issues.
* Stays informed of applications' features and updates, Learns new computer programs and obtains certification as needed.
* Conducts ongoing testing of applications to ensure integrity of modules and data.
* Works closely with Practice Administration, Medical Directors, Information System and Patient Financial Services.
* Coaches and promotes Service Excellence.
* Performs other job related duties as assigned.

Required criteria:

3+ years of related experience.

High School Diploma or equivalent GED

Preferred criteria:

Bachelor's Degree
