The People Partner role will be a key member of the MI HR Leadershp team and will partner closely with leaders in the Commercial organization, This role will ensure that the people plans and priorities across their respective areas are consistent, that a strong succession pipeline and bench strength is built and that their leaders are supported in building a high performing, strongly aligned team.


* Develop and Operationalise people plans within Commercial. Partner with the commercial leads on people planning and development processes and strategic workforce design including organizational structures, needed competencies and expense objectives.
* Provide Key Business Partnering across areas of - Succession Planning, Performance Management, Talent & Development, complex Employee Relations and Total Reward - ensuring all roll ups to Chief Commercial Officer are accurately provided and partnering with peer group of Commercial People Partners to drive consistency in people activities across the Commercial group
* Drive Engagement & Retention - identify areas of opportunity to drive engagement within the business areas being supported as well as developing strategies and plans to mitigate attrition risk of key talent
* Provide Strategic guidance & thought leadership - to the commercial leaders, some of whom are new in the role. This role will also be critical in ensuring that the strategic plans for these commercial leaders fit with the broader commercial leadership aspirations and goals
* Own strategic projects across MI as required - This People Partner may from time to time be pulled into other strategic projects as required by the VP People for the MI business. Strategic projects could include things like Recognition, WorkForce Planning, OD work that supports the Head of OD/OE for MI


* Highly developed skills in influencing and navigating a complex, heavily matrixed global organization
* Ideally a consulting background. Experience of HR consulting desired but not necessary. Some experience working in an HR function would be highly desirable.
* Ability to work in a complex and highly matrixed environment; including being skilled at influencing senior leaders across the organization
* Ability to work effectively across teams, foster inclusivity, overcome resistance and navigate a complex organization with a high level of EQ
* Strong analytical and data visualization skills; should be able to leverage global data dashboards with ease and foresight
* Ability to quickly build credibility and relationships across multiple global teams
* Resolves complex operational problems requiring strategic and innovative solutions.
* Aptitude to communicate and deliver on multiple projects simultaneously, strong prioritization and organization skills
* Advanced communication skills. This includes the ability to simplify complex concepts and messages to the essential components and deliver these effectively to a wide range of audiences
* Advanced problem solving skills. Able to quickly identify and understand issues and drive towards effective resolution
* 5+ years of relevant industry experience
* 8+ years of work experience including project management
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required; advanced degree preferred
