Job Description

Responsibilities:

In this role you will:

* Lead all aspects of the Advertising Ad order entry and A/R systems and will be responsible for all software controlling the systems for multiple currencies, multiple company ledgers and multiple publications


* lead subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets


* have full authority for personnel actions, deep understanding of department processes, and ensure all procedures are followed for PCI related systems


* provide support, programming and configuration of Admarc modules for newspaper and magazine products


* address problems of systems integration, compatibility, and multiple platforms


* Consult with project teams and end users to identify application requirements


* establish work standards, develop objectives and design, and maintain effective work flow and build operating procedures


* Lead and run the timely and accurate processing of order entry/AR tasks; including order entry,invoicing and payment transactions


* Manage the team's interaction with our users


* Recommend the development and implementation of new processes, policies, systems and tools to improve effectiveness and efficiency


* Participate in month-end and year-end tasks including financial audits


* Lead a team that provide technical support and troubleshooting for advertising Adorder entry and A/R processes


* Coordinate changes for adorder entry products and processes across departments and systems


* Document of changes, processes, project tasks


* Document application issues and communicating with the vendor to resolve


* Continually seeks ways and means for improving the delivery and support of order entry and AR services performed



The individual should:

* You will have ability to multi-task / handle various tasks and deadlines concurrently


* Have strong leadership and motivational skills in driving team to resolution of user issues


* Be comfortable with ambiguity and adjusts to shifting priorities with appropriate sense of urgency


* Exhibit strong analytical skills


* Interface effectively with others to foster a cooperative, team based approach to problem resolution and/or project based work


* Effectively communicate to all levels of technical and non-technical staff members


* Be able to optimize the configuration functionality within software packages to achieve desired results without costly customization



You should be able to demonstrate proficiency in the following:

* Programming in Cobol and Java


* Experience working with various systems


* Ability to implement and verify


* Scripting, Windows Powershell and batch files



Work Experience Required:

* You will possess strong, troubleshooting technical skills across all of these technologies, excellent customer-facing skills and a proven ability to produce results in a challenging environment


* They will have a minimum of two years experience in a support role


* They should possess a working knowledge in using scripting to accomplish needs



Desired knowledge/Abilities:

* Experience with Admarc, order entry and A/R systems


* Experience in providing Level 3 support


* The ability to communicate - both verbally and in writing. Ability to document programs and processes


* Creative problem-solver with proven track record in project-oriented environment
